How each mode went
Each mode is graded its own way, so compare a mode with itself on other days, not with the other modes.
| Mode | Graded as | Solved | Out of time | Players |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stat Check | scored per card | 66% | 9% | about 35 |
| Match Grid | whole board or nothing | 81% | 0% | about 20 |
| Order Forge | exact order or nothing | 6% | 2% | about 50 |
| Quiz | one answer per question | 55% | 2% | about 65 |
| Reconstruct | exact recipe or nothing | 57% | 0% | about 35 |
| Chronoscope | exact checkpoint or nothing | 18% | 5% | about 60 |
How these numbers are made
- Only official first attempts count: bot opponents, replays, owner takes and test runs are excluded, and each player counts once per question.
- Every community number comes from at least 20 players; player counts are rounded.
- Each mode is graded differently, so mode rates are not comparable with each other.

Idea 1
Wave XP checkpoints
Every minion wave gives a fixed amount of experience to the champions who share it, so a laner who takes every minion reaches each early level on a predictable wave rather than at a set minute. Cannon minions are worth more experience than the others, which is why some level-ups line up with cannon waves.

On this day's Daily
Find the first wave where a solo laner reaches Level 6.
Answer: Wave 9 (4:30) · cannon
A solo laner reaches Level 6 at Wave 9 (4:30) · cannon: 2736 XP, threshold 2400 XP; Level 6 (1st melee in wave). The wave before, Wave 8 (4:00), is Level 5 with 2382 XP.
Worked out from the recorded question data.
Remember: Track levels by waves, not minutes, and expect the bigger jumps when a cannon wave arrives.
Idea 2
Compare champion stats
Base stats are what a champion has before items, runes and other bonuses are added. Two champions can differ clearly in a stat such as health, armor or attack range, and those differences shape how each one trades in lane.

What is the cooldown of Sona R - Crescendo at level 16 with rank 3 R and Moonstone Renewer and Ionian Boots of Lucidity and Ardent Censer?
Answer: 76.9 seconds
Sona R - Crescendo has a base cooldown of 100 seconds at rank 3. Moonstone Renewer and Ionian Boots of Lucidity and Ardent Censer grant 30 Ability Haste from canonical item stats, and Ability Haste divides the cooldown: 100 seconds x 100 / (100 + 30) = 76.9 seconds.
- 100 × 100 / (100 + 30) = 76.9 s
Remember: Read the rank and the build state first, then apply haste to that rank's base cooldown.

Lesson 1
Ability cost by rank
The idea
An ability's resource cost is set per rank, just like its cooldown, and it can change from one rank to the next. Knowing what a cast costs lets you judge how many casts your resource bar can afford.
The question as asked
How much mana does Sivir Q - Boomerang Blade cost at rank 3?
- A.70
- B.60
- C.65(correct answer)
- D.75
The explanation
Sivir Q - Boomerang Blade costs 65 mana at rank 3 (55 / 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 across its ranks).
Remember: Resource cost is tied to the ability's rank, so recall the cost for the rank in the question.

Minion XP and levels · question 2After clearing wave 12 in a duo lane with no missed XP, are you level 6 yet?Answer: No
Lesson 2
Minion XP and levels
The idea
Experience from minion waves arrives in a fixed order, so a champion reaches each early level at a particular wave. Which wave that is can depend on how many champions share the lane's experience, which is why a level breakpoint is a fact about the wave and the lane, not about the clock.
The question as asked
After clearing wave 12 in a duo lane with no missed XP, are you level 6 yet?
- A.Yes
- B.No(correct answer)
The explanation
Assuming no XP is missed, a duo lane reaches level 6 in wave 13 (6:30). Wave 12 is before that, so not yet.
Remember: Learn which wave brings each early level for your lane setup, and plan your trades around it.

Cooldown under items · question 14Talon R - Shadow Assault has a rank 1 cooldown of 100 seconds. With Umbral Glaive, what is its cooldown?Answer: 87 seconds
Lesson 14
Cooldown under items
The idea
Ability haste shortens cooldowns, but not by subtracting seconds. The base cooldown is scaled by one hundred divided by one hundred plus your total haste, so every extra point of haste removes a little less time than the one before. Haste from an item can also be limited to certain ability slots, so which slots an item's haste applies to matters as much as how much it gives.
The question as asked
Talon R - Shadow Assault has a rank 1 cooldown of 100 seconds. With Umbral Glaive, what is its cooldown?
- A.87 seconds(correct answer)
- B.80 seconds
- C.69.6 seconds
- D.85 seconds
The explanation
Talon R - Shadow Assault has a cooldown of 100 seconds at rank 1. Umbral Glaive grants 15 Ability Haste, so this ability uses 15 haste in total. Ability Haste divides the cooldown: 100 seconds x 100 / (100 + 15) = 87 seconds.
- 100 × 100 / (100 + 15) = 87 s
- Why not 85 seconds? Reads ability haste as a percentage cut instead of dividing the cooldown.

Cooldown under items · question 18What is the cooldown of Sona R - Crescendo at level 16 with rank 3 R and Moonstone Renewer and Ionian Boots of Lucidity and Ardent Censer?Answer: 76.9 seconds
Lesson 18
Cooldown under items
The idea
An ability's cooldown at a given moment depends on its rank and on the haste you have at that point of the build. The rank sets the base cooldown, and ability haste then shortens it with diminishing returns rather than a flat subtraction.
The question as asked
What is the cooldown of Sona R - Crescendo at level 16 with rank 3 R and Moonstone Renewer and Ionian Boots of Lucidity and Ardent Censer?
- A.69 seconds
- B.76.9 seconds(correct answer)
- C.100 seconds
- D.92.3 seconds
The explanation
Sona R - Crescendo has a base cooldown of 100 seconds at rank 3. Moonstone Renewer and Ionian Boots of Lucidity and Ardent Censer grant 30 Ability Haste from canonical item stats, and Ability Haste divides the cooldown: 100 seconds x 100 / (100 + 30) = 76.9 seconds.
- 100 × 100 / (100 + 30) = 76.9 s
- Why not 92.3 seconds? The cooldown at rank 2, not the rank asked.

Cooldown under items · question 24Twisted Fate R - Destiny has a rank 2 cooldown of 140 seconds. With Rod of Ages and Lich Bane, what is its cooldown?Answer: 127.3 seconds
Lesson 24
Cooldown under items

Ability haste shortens cooldowns, but not by subtracting seconds. The base cooldown is scaled by one hundred divided by one hundred plus your total haste, so every extra point of haste removes a little less time than the one before. Haste from an item can also be limited to certain ability slots, so which slots an item's haste applies to matters as much as how much it gives.
The question as asked
Twisted Fate R - Destiny has a rank 2 cooldown of 140 seconds. With Rod of Ages and Lich Bane, what is its cooldown?
- A.116.7 seconds
- B.126 seconds
- C.127.3 seconds(correct answer)
- D.154.5 seconds
The explanation
Twisted Fate R - Destiny has a cooldown of 140 seconds at rank 2. Rod of Ages grants no Ability Haste to this ability; Lich Bane grants 10 Ability Haste, so this ability uses 10 haste in total. Ability Haste divides the cooldown: 140 seconds x 100 / (100 + 10) = 127.3 seconds.
- 140 × 100 / (100 + 10) = 127.3 s
- Why not 116.7 seconds? The cooldown with a different first item.
